this myth is very know as herobrine but nobody can prove he is real or why he is in minecraft. thers alot of different opinions and facts but none point to  anything spicific, is he made by notch/jeb to keep minecrafters intrested, or is he realy a glitch. i dont got to much to say about this but i did gather some stuff i can show
look in the back where i circled you see herobrine is this added because herobrine is part of the game or is it a easter egg for all i know this might be a acedent when adding steve in the background good this isint the only evedence i have
There are no references to him at all in the source code, and there is no code to allow for any entity to act like Herobrine
There is no level terrain code to generate redstone torches, 2x2 tunnels or elaborate dungeons with traps.

agin he is seen here in wedding wekend minecraft poster but lets not talk to mtch about this one
but just for more evedince herobrine is a creepypasta and the myth is that he cuts all the leaves off trees and creates traps because he is notches dead brother whos soul is stuck in the game and he plans to get his revenge on notch or it go somthing along that
