Joining A Server Part 2

"Well adster, it's nice to meet you." You shifted your weight awkwardly as you stood by him. "I still don't get this. How is it possible for multiple people on one world? I have never heard of such a thing." Adster chuckles lightly. "Multiplayer is a wonderful thing, Player. I, as well as others, have made a place where multiple people who all enjoy the same thing can come together, to build, destroy, whatever." He smiled, "It's truly a wonderful thing. Shall I show you around spawn now?" You look at him like he is crazy, "Spawn?" You have never heard of a spawn before. "Yes, spawn. Also known as this town you popped on into when you joined us." He started up the stone stairs, then stopped at the top, motioning for you to follow him. You start your way up the stairs.

"Essentially spawn is a place where you can buy and sell items, as well as chill with friends. You walk with adster through a small courtyard where you see people throwing seeds to chickens and chatting on benches. Inside windows you can see people buying and selling items using over the counter methods. You pass a bar with stone walls which reaks of Potions of Slowness. "You made all this?" You ask adster. "Well... No. Our players made all of this. They made the town and they occupy it. I just make sure there isn't any trouble."
"So, you're like the government?"
"Essentially. People here call it the 'staff', though."
"I see."
"Sadly, lots of people want staff for the power it holds. Staff can fly, spawn in any block they want, and enforce and make laws."
"Well how do you deal with them?" This server thing has you rather curious. "Well... We usually ban them to the nether." He frowned. "Remind me not to get on your bad side.." You say with a quiver in your voice. Adster just laughs. "Please! You have to do a lot to get into the nether. Plus, you seem like a nice guy." He smiled at you.


A few minutes later you find yourself in front of a three story wool building with log supports, with a wooden sign above the double doors. The signs read: The Enchantment Hotel. "This is where you will be staying," adster begins, "I will pay for your first week's rent until you can find a house to stay in." You both walk in through the double doors to find a magnificent lobby with a red wool carpet and glowstone chandeliers. "What a beautiful place." You say.

You say goodbye to adster and book yourself a third floor room. You travel up three flights of stairs, only to be met by a maze of hallways. After finding your room, you walk in to find a cozy medieval looking room, fit with stone slabs and dark wood. You walk over to the double bed, and collapse on it, tired. It had been a long and unusual day.
