Hi, and welcome to o Learn Redstone in 50 Tutorialso . In this you will be able to start with the basic Redstone logic and work from that, or if you dono t want to be a discoverer, you can go through a lot of them. The first 10 or so will be all needed to be able to build, but more always helps. Ever since Redstone came out Io ve been using it and I still can learn stuff a lot. After the first stuff, I will get into simple infinite circuits, piston doors, piston extenders (Maybe) and more :D .
In Redstone, any solid object or Redstone device (Piston, Dispenser, Note Block, Redstone wire, Redstone torch, ect.) can be on or off. Some objects, like Redstone wire, will change when ito s powered. Others, like most solid blocks will not. A Redstone torch will provide power for Redstone circuit and the wires will turn on. The basic input you can use to affect Redstone wires are button, lever, torch, and pressure plate (And trip wire, but that isno t basic). A lever is on until pulled again, a button is on when its being pushed, and a pressure plate when its stepped on (That is stone, the wood one will also act upon arrows and entities). Lastly the torch is us usually on unless a power source goes into that block ito s on, and then it turns off. If a Redstone wire is on the block, under the block, to the side of the block or touching the power source on the block, it will turn on and off with that power source.
Thanks for reading, stay tuned for more :D
If this didn't help you, this is the Easiest Tutorial and will get harder.
