Just don't even get yourself into this. It can only end in disaster.
Never, ever, EVER argue with a server mod or admin. Most of those guys are really strict (and it's good that they are: someone needs to sustain the order) and eventually, they might get tired of you...let's leave it at that. At the very least, you'll get nothing out of the argument. Unless, of course, someone really screwed you over and broke the rules.
When you're stalking a guy (and I mean this in the "following the guy you're about to kill on a server" way), if you see that a third guy near, don't fight the guy you're chasing. The third person (if he has a brain) will wait till one of you has died, then scumbag-kill the victor.
Unless you know you can finish him, don't jump into water in pursuit of a skeleton. This is common sense, but if you underestimate a skeleton, you will get yourself owned. Walk back and letit chase you.Then you can kill it.
Never go on a pigman killing spree without food. They sprint as fast as you do, and a pack of them after you can mean big trouble if you're out of food: you need to eat, and they don't. They will run you down. Also, they do damage: They carry swords. Be ready to fight.
