Only a while more to go until September 24, when Minecon 2016 takes place in California! One of the more EXCITING events for Minecon will be the official announcing of brand-new features for MC v.1.11.0, another massive update for our favorite sandbox game. Apparently, no features of the update have actualy been, ahem, officially confirmed yet, but below are some (estimated) additions that will be included in the upcoming update:

ITEMS AND INVENTORY:

-More spawn eggs, including those for the Zombie Horse, Skeleton Horse, Wither Skeleton, Elder Guardian, Donkey, Husk, Stray, Snow and Iron Golems.

-Added pumpkin stew, which can be crafted with a bowl, a pumpkin and sugar.

-Jack o' lanterns can now be worn as a helmet, and has similar properties as pumpkins.

-Added dyeable leather horse armor from MCPE.

BLOCKS:

-Added mud blocks, which are essentially soul-sand-like blocks which slow you down when you tread on them and can be used for growing mushrooms, and can be obtained by

1) Irrigating dirt blocks with water, and
2) Smelting dirt.

-Pumpkin pies can now be placed as blocks, alike cake. However, they will drop themselves when destroyed.

-Added BUD blocks from MCPE.

MOBS AND ENTITIES

-Added husk jockeys (baby zombies riding atop husks) from MCPE.

-Added the buffalo, a neutral mob that lives in herds and deals damage by ramming into targets with their horns. They possess 30 HP, and will automatically attack wild wolves and polar bears. They spawn naturally in taiga and snowy biomes.

By the way, the features listed above are only ESTIMATED AND SUGGESTED FEATURES for the update---they haven't been confirmed yet, so don't really take 'em so seriously.
