It was a beautiful Spring morning. The flowers were blooming. Our adventurer grabbed his sword and bow. He was ready to hunt. He set out to find some food for him and his dog. The forest wasn't far. Every inch closer he got, he felt like something was watching him. Something evil. But he shook it off. Last night he had read about a mysterious beast that lurked in caves, but that was just a legend written by a villager. Three minutes passed. He was chasing a pig through the forest when he tripped over a log and fell straight into a cave system. Although he was relatively close to his house, this cave was completely unexplored. No torches. No placed blocks. Just a natural cave. Something didn't feel right, though. As he got deeper into the cave, he felt the same presence as before, this time stronger. Our adventurer reached deepslate. That's when things got weird. Across a giant lava lake was something he'd only seen in legends. Something of fear. Something of... mystery. A deep dark city. This lead our adventurer to become curious. He decided to check out the ancient ruins. He opened chests, stealing all the loot he could. Little did he know that below him, something was watching. Something was waiting. Something was hungry. The Warden. As our adventurer steps closer towards the middle, he hears a faint alien-like sound. It is a croak followed by a blood-curdling shriek. It was totally out of this world. And then, right before his eyes, he witnessed it take form. The Warden was angry. It let out a roar and charged after our adventurer. He built up to a hallway, but the Warden just dug into the wall and followed. Our adventurer used and ender pearl to teleport out of the city, but the Warden kept sprinting after him. Our adventurer used some cobblestone to build up to the surface, but he was short by about 25 blocks. The Warden was getting closer, so our adventurer dug into the wall. He finally got a chance to breathe. He should've held his breath, though, because the Warden sensed him breathing and dug into the wall. Our adventurer quickly escaped and used his bow to shoot the Warden back into the cave. That bought him some time. He collected some more cobblestone and built out. Our adventurer ran home. His dog was starving, and by now it was noon. He gave his dog the last of his porkchops, and the dog whined. That wasn't enough for him. Our adventurer knew that going out for more food was more dangerous, but the cave was also really close to his house. He would have to go in the opposite direction. "C'mon, we're leaving," he said to his dog. They packed their stuff and left on a horse. The three rode through the night. It was dawn when our adventurer built a campfire and began building. He built all day. His house was finished. This is where he felt safe. Eleven minutes passed. It was midnight when our adventurer heard the sound. Another other-worldly scream. It came from the forest. Our adventurer once again packed and left. He went another 1,000 blocks and arrived at a mountain. That same night, he heard the same scream. The Warden was even closer. Our adventurer, his dog, and his horse moved again for the last time. This time, they moved to a village. Surely the Warden wouldn't attack the Iron Golem, right? Wrong. The Warden attacked the village that night. The whole thing was in ruins. Dead bodies were everywhere. Our adventurer's dog lied down next to his owner's dead bodies. The horse did the same...

The End.
