I've been makining 3d sculptures of the different minecraft mobs in order to take pictures of the different angles, which I then use for making the textures for my resource pack. Unfortunately the high poly sculpts don't translate perfectly onto the in game models, as one uses realistic proportions, and the other doesn't. This made me want to take some nice turnaround renders of my sculpts.
The first two mobs are pretty standard views of the mobs themselves. I have plans though, to do all of the mobs and pose them in unique dioramas, based on locations you would find them in game, only made to look more like real life.

The next thing I wanna work on is the skeletons. I wanted to do a scene in a dungeon, with a skeleton knight holding an axe, wearing iron armor; with a couple standard skeleton archers. They'll all be comming toward the camera, as if it's the players POV.
I don't remember whether or not skeletons ever spawn with iron armor, or with any weapon other than bows, but I wanted to make a more durable/ intimidating skeleton, so I decided wtf I'll just do it. The main reason I wanted to add a lot of armor to at least one of them, is because I think bare skeletons usually end up looking frail, and unimposing; so the armor should make him look more bulky and tough.
Here is the skeleton knight, the archers will pretty much be the base skeleton that is currently hidden by the armor, so I won't have to make new bodies for them.
I plan on adding battle damage to his armor, and tearing up the cloth parts so you can see the skeleton inside.

Update with Battle damage...
