Hi guys, CK51 here and today I'll give you guys some pro tips on PvP. Now I've seen a lot of guides that tell you stuff like "Use a sword. Run away." But that's not what this is. This is truly pro tips. If you want to learn to use a sword and run away, this is not for you. This is for advanced miners.
So firstly you're gonna have to know your weapons, damage, durability stuff like that. Most of this will be learned from experience, so I won't write anything here.
Next you have to know your tricks. Here I will teach you a few.
Strafing:
Strafing is running around your enemy while attacking. Your gonna have to avoid standing still. You could run through the other guy, if your crazy good at strafing.
Stunning:
Your gonna need a fishing rod. Throw it at your enemy. This will stun him for a half second. Charge in, hit him and retreat.
Water:
Use any knockback item to get your enemy into water. This will cut down his speed giving you a decisive advantage.
Critical:
A critical is when you hit your enemy by sprinting or falling. The latter also makes you harder to hit. However it can be countered. That's what your gonna learn next...
Counter the Critical:
If your enemy attemps a critical, you can counter it by taking up a range advantage. By range I mean your swords range. He won't be able to hit you immediately. My strategy is to run under him swing around, stun him, hit him and retreat.
Now let's go on to general battle strategy. First we're gonna discuss fighting against teams. You're gonna have to try and seperate them. If you can't, most tricks fall out of place, but focus on attacking one at a time.
If you're standing next to a cliff, swing around immediately. Or you could play hero and jump of it, into the water, like a pro. Oh wait, your enemy has legs to, and maybe a bow...
Fighting every man for himself is actually easier than most scenarios. Now it's to run away. Yeah. Please don't run into the middle of the fight, then I won't message you. Oh wait I can't, you're gonna be dead...
Ok guys! I hope that helped you from dying too much. And I will see you next time. CK51 out!
