Hello Minecrafters here with the MrZybez here with the Omegaverse Network
You may remember my other PMC Blog “Lets Fight Back - A Defend PMC Blog” About how there are not enough REAL Minecraft server reviewers and most use PMC as a weapon to troll. In this blog I want to state “I’ve done it!” I have made REAL Minecraft server reviews and am doing a new one each week. I picked a server at random and without telling anyone and just playing the game created a review. Doing reviews is harder than people think it is. You need to use the product like any other person and stay objective and unbiased. To create a legitimate review you must not get special treatment and be able to see both the positives and the negatives of the server, which I am quite good at.
NOTE: I may use PMC as a tool to find the servers but I am in no way affiliated with PMC, Mojang, or any other Official parties. I am With the Omegaverse Network and am doing this according to my own free will and as a volunteer. I do not get paid for the reviews, I just enjoy making them.
Now you may ask “Why is he doing this?” The answer is, because I got tired of there not being enough REAL reviewers. Most of the ones I’ve seen play on just one server and review that one or a few, maybe one to 3 servers. Also most reviews on YouTube I’ve seen are from the owners themselves doing it to get attention. I wanted to be a REAL reviewer and go in a really look at everything. Also to show that there are other servers out there, that are really good that just don’t get enough attention. So here is the first episode of the new series “Minecraft - Server Reviews”

Q: How do I film this?
A: I choose a
server at random on PMC or my list, then I hop on and film the first 30
minutes. Then play the remainder of the week and at the end of that week
I post my Final Verdict.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Yes i do. Updated Needed... but for now just PM me...
Q: do you need any perks, ranks, permissions or any privileges?
A: No. That would defeat the purpose of the review.
Q: What is the risk of letting you do a review on my server?
A: A bad score?
Q: What do the scores matter?
A: Nothing but brownie points.
Q: What would this do for my server?
A: It would bring attention to your server via my many media outlets and drive traffic to the places I review.
Q: What makes you qualified to do reviews?
A:
I have extensive Minecraft experience and server/plugin knowledge. I
have been playing Minecraft and Beta Testing Minecraft/Other Games for
the past 6 years.
Q: If i make changes to my server, can you do another review.

Old Server Review Feel Free to read anyways though
Denied PvP is a faction server. It has a nice hub world that seems to
lean towards more expansion. The server seemed rather boring to be
honest with little traffic and not much to strive for. On the server
money is the most important thing. You can buy any item with in-game
cash, Spawners, obsidian, ores and more. However, best ways to make
money are rather slow, having Farming to be one of the best ways.
Faction
servers to me at least seem to have a life cycle of around 6 months to 1
year before they come and go. I feel this happens because of the server
gaining popularity and friends joining the server and then stabbing
each other in the back. After a faction server grows to a point, the
contentions get to an all-time high. Players would have spent money
before this point, but that money would stop. Players would stop joining
because they could feel that contention in the server. So without new
players and without more money coming in the server would eventually
bleed dry.
While I was online I only saw maybe 2 other players on
at a time when I was there. And in those days the server only peeked at
5 players. There was definitely a very low traffic rate on the server.
The server could have low traffic because of the after math of a massive
faction war or not properly advertised, but that’s just speculation.
Regardless the server has no traffic.
Also building bases seem
pointless as to the fact that obsidian can be destroyed by 4 hits with
TNT. I don’t necessarily like this model for factions because to me it
feels like it encourages lone wolfing instead of teaming up. Having
bases so easily raidable would put any faction on edge.
So with
money being the most important thing, not really much to do, security
issues seen in my video above, purchasable player vaults, over powered
buyable kits, and not EULA safe shops, this server seems…blah and to cut
and paste. Because of all the stuff that happened while reviewing, I’ll
leave the score up in the air. You guys decide.
