Now, I'm not advertising, I'm reviewing it. :D
Anyways, To start off. Minecraft-Central is currently number 1 on PMC. So I assume you all know what it is, I started playing it around January and still do to this day. Now, when I first joined I played the prison ALOT! and when I was starting out as a noob, I liked the server, (I have this habit of loving being a noob and being challenged xD) I was playing with my friends, but as soon as I got to a high rank in the prison. Everyone begs you for money (understandable) and all the donors suddenly spam you and try to get you banned. I recently donated to the 2nd highest donor rank. (50% off sale. Bite me.) and everyone started showing respect as if being a donor made you 'popular' on the server. I noticed that the staff also had donor ranks given to them when recruited.
After months of this. Factions came out. And almost all the players had a go. The problem is however, The Staff would team up (with a select few donors) and make an op faction, claiming all the land and basically ruining the game. But. When questioned, the staff are still defended by those that they exploit. Which amazes me. As it turns out, The Staff are the 'popular' ones and that many staff are fired or quit due to them getting in a heated argument with eachother, Superfords, A recent mod that was fired. Publicly spoke about this on the forums. (Click Here to read it.) It mainly states that all the staff want is to be popular and own noobs. This includes helping their mates get "MOD" or just being mean to newer players and killing them.
Overall, I'd say that although the staff are pretty f***ed up, the server is well equipped with minigames such as; Sky wars, Survival Games, Skyblock etc. It seems to have a promising future and I shall continue to play it until it closes!
