Hey guys, I just wanted to share an educational blog about mc snapshots for those of you who don't know about snapshots.

What is a snapshot? Snapshots are small development versions of an upcoming update. They help give you an idea on how your experience with the next update will be.

Is there a snapshot for every update? No.

Can I access giant servers, such as Mineplex with them? No.


They sound awesome! How do I get these snapshots?

Step 1: Open your minecraft launcher.

Step 2: Go to the little icon that says "Edit Profile", which is located in the bottom left part of your minecraft launcher.

Step 3: Once you have done that, click the square that says: Enable experimental development versions ("snapshots") 

Step 4: Mojang will send a warning about enabling snapshots. In the warning box, click "Yes".

Step 5: Play and enjoy the snapshots!
