A lot of people consider someone to be a noob for liking coal,but I dont. It's actually pretty useful.

1. Coal is used to make torches. (obviously)

2. Coal can heat up to 8 items.

3. Coal gives you a decent amount of experience points.

4. Coal blocks have a unique pattern and are easier to make than other items that come from ores.

5. Coal is used to craft fire charges.
