Hello Guys!
Today I’ll be doing a blog about Minecraft changes from Minecraft Alpha to now. I’ll be explaining where I thought Minecraft was good enough not to need more updates and where it all went wrong.
So, we start off with Alpha and by version 1.26 I think that Minecraft was perfect. The lighting and the textures are what give people so many fond memories of Minecraft. Maybe a few more features and bug fixes but apart from that the textures,music,lighting and sounds were awesome,however I think Mojang are trying to compete with games like call of duty,therefor trying to make it as good as it can be.
Beta was awesome,as well,adding some awesome features,like beds and cake.
Then came to relase of 1.0,the version I started on,however I started watching Minecraft long before then with the Alpha and Beta versions. 1.0 sort of perfected the game,however I think that 1.2 was the point where they should of just stopped. I know this is a sandbox,however I think that with the command blocks, they just went too far. I want some sort of limit in a sandbox,however with command blocks we can get pretty much anything now. I also think that the textures are just so modern now and I like the old SMP servers, I like minigames in all, but I just want everything to go back to the way it was so I can re-live the classic game again.
I’d love to know your thoughts in comments and I might even set up a forum discussion later.
