Zombie Siege Mode!

but with newer, fresh ideas, making it.......

APOCALYPSE MODE!

My Mineidea sets you in creative mode, building a fortress with an optional block limit of 300 blocks, building traps & placing a special "goal" block, that you must stop the enemy zombies from reaching once you start.

I came up with this after giving up on entering the Mineideas contest, while looking at Zombie Sieges on the MC Wiki.

Setup:

First, you must choose some settings, such as how many waves (25, 50, 100, 150, 200 or custom.)As I mentioned before, you must use creative mode to build a fortress,with a special monument block at the end, which has 100 hearts of life. You must build traps and pits, but no matter what you do, you will eventually fail. The game will not start if there is no clear path too the monument, the game will not start. You may also build up too 6 golems, and 4 tame wolves.

Attack!:

Once you've finished setting up your fortress, you are given a wooden sword with Unbreaking X and a bow with Infinity I. Now, you must defend from the hordes of zombies! Every few rounds, you get upgraded weapons and a chance to add some more traps, but you can't move the monument!

The Zombies:

Every few rounds, some zombies will be upgraded with armour and weapons, even potion affects!

However, after some rounds, special zombies are added.......

5 Waves- Path Clearers- Name explains all. If you have traps that stop the zombies progress, these zombies will smash down your walls! Identified by their Cobblestone heads.

8 Waves- Air Walkers- Air Walkers will detect falls that will trap or kill them and create a safe path over the gap, allowing other zombies to cross as well. Have Wooden Plank heads.

10 Waves- Archers- Excactly what it says on the tin. Has a skeleton head.

15 Waves- Blazes- Throws Blaze Charges. Has a netherrack head.

17 Waves- Rhinos- Incredibly fast, strong zombies that have incredible knockback, and attack without stoppin their movement. Have obsidian heads.

20 Waves- Mutants- Bigger than the average zombie, deals double damage & shoots out poisonous slimeballs that do half a heart of damage.

35 Waves- Ghosts- Weak, but can walk straight through obstacles. The are almost invisible.

45 Waves- Pups- Basically just Angry Wolves with more attack and speed.

50 Waves- The Destroyer- This zombie summons smaller zombies and can kill you in just four hits. Its smaller than a mutant, but bigger than normal zombies.

75 Waves- Crawlers- Smaller zombies that stick to walls and roofs, leaping down to attack.

100 Waves- Slugger- Extra strength and speed, summons up to 5 pups and shoots Blaze Charges.

Questions:

How would this benefit Minecraft?

How would a new gamemode NOT benefit Minecraft? This tests your building, redstoning, survival & fighting skills. It's kind of like a training mode for the real minecraft!
