Hi guys,
I have a question about buying the MSI DE -or- the Alienware 18x.

The MSI has:

  • Windows 8
  • o The latest 3rd generation Intel® Coreo i7 Processor
  • o 17.3" Full HD (1920x1080) anti-glare LCD panel in LED backlit
  • o Killero DoubleShot for high-performance Wi-Fi and Ethernet for online gaming
  • o High-end NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 675MX discrete graphics card (with GDDR5 4GB VRAM) provides great detail images quality
  • o Super RAID with 2 SSD RAID0 gives you over 1000MB/s storage speed!!(option)
  • o A Keyboard made just for gamers by SteelSeries
  • o Exclusive TDE technology to speed up the performance easily
  • o Exclusive Audio boost design for crystal clear audio fidelity
  • o Sound by Dynaudio for extreme audio performance
  • 32 GB RAM

The Alienware 18x has (As i remember :P)

  • Windows 8
  • 12 GB RAM
  • 2 GB Nvidia dual core
  • And other stuff

Most of my friends and I agreed for me to buy thr MSI as it is super cheap (1500$) compared to the alienware (3000$).
I need EXPERT advice!!! These are costly!

Personally, I'd get the alienware one. So it costs more but it's one of the best kind of gaming laptop and desktop pc's out there.

Well then your fucking retarded. Not only are laptops way less powerful then dekstops but they also have huge frame rate issues. Also laptops cost more for no power boost

Like I said, the frame rate drop isn't noticeable

Not a smart choice obviously and laptops DO HAVE frame rate issues. Not big ones but can really reduce your performance

Ok! But the alienware desktops have less RAM than this one! If i was to add more RAM like 32GB It will cost like 2 and a half thousand euros! :(

Seriously what are you planning to do on it. Also alienware may not be totally trustworthy i mean you can put the logo on anything and its worth twice more.
