An Idea for Minecraft I thought of last night whilst I was lying in bed pondering what would I do to improve Minecraft.
I present to you ... Multiplayer/Social Improvements!
How it would work, is when you were on a server, you could right click on someone's name in chat and it would allow you to send them a FRIEND REQUEST!
Lets say they accept it. Possibly with the use of a /accept command, or a popup on screen. If they wanted to not get requests, they could block just you or turn off requests in general.
A FRIEND!
What would happen is. When you clicked on multiplayer, there would be a [Friends] Button. If you clicked it, you could view your friendo s status (what server they were on), message them, and they would receive it in game, or manage your friends, set favorites, remove friends, and ... by pressing the [ADD] button and typing someone's username, you could send them a friend request. For people who didn't want to be bothered by requests, you could set it so requests are blocked to you.
Also, when your friends were in servers, their name would be illuminated so you could communicate with them easily even on busy servers.
