My Void theory

I was always wondering whats beneath the bedrock layer and then creative came and I finnaly got the chance.
It wasnt what I was hoping for but still it really fired up my brain.
I came to a conclusion that unlike sky limit void simply is what its called: Nothing...
I did a little research and i figured that emptyness up there was actually something.
It was the Air/0. Then I got an Idea: If theres no air at a block place you cant put neither solid nor non-solid blocks on that place. I hope that awswers some questions of yours.
