A friend and I were planning to build a vast world, with buildings and villages for a server, but we do not know where to begin.
Any tips on creating such a huge map?
I know this is based off of personal preference and what not but I can learn from others, who spend 9000+ hours on minecraft designing large castles and buildings.
Where is a good place to start?
Have any good seeds?

Oh and the project will either be called, "GigaCraft" or "Racular".... for those who care haha.

Large scale servers tend to form in one of two ways - either they have "colonies" of buildings in close proximity, or they have 'zones' that are clusters of just a few close friends in the middle of nowhere, all spread out from each other.
If you're planning on just doing it yourself, well... gonna take you forever.
