What does minecraft need? A way to run it without java. I have tried to work minecraft on the computers at my school and it has not worked. Java cannot be installed because of administrative authority. So, I am looking for a way to play minecraft without java. If you think you have a solution, link it in the comments bar. As you said, it had been a long time... but actually Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is not Java required :D And Minecraft Educational Edition is specially for schools

Before minecraft disabled its "demo mode", people got the embed code from the website and created an embed minecraft. Some people went as far as creating other versions. It used to be possible, but not anymore.

Minecraft without Java would be another game entirely, thus it wouldn't be Minecraft.
