We where noobs to both minecraft and servers at one point in time, what is your story? mine goes like this...

When i first started playing i played classic, then my friend let me play on his SP until i could get my own. i had made a castle, which looking back on it now it seems like a hovel, it was 3 floors, and each floor was only 2 blocks from each other, so it felt a little cramped, ahh but those were good times, the times RIGHT before that i was clawing my way into a mountain side bare handed trying to escape those Creepers i had heard so much about.

then came my first server, mc.novs12.com, a server i have played on and off again haha. my first day i spawn into a small little town, and i smile and just leave, a VERY short walk later i start tearing into a mountain side in hopes of making a squalid little shelter until the rain stopped and the sun rose. During this time, i was just excavating a small hotel so i could help other new players seek refuge, my noobish awareness had not allowed me to realize this was a faction server with lots of PVP, but thankfully a kind stranger invited me into his home, which i later come to realize as a faction, and gave me a room. At first i thought that maybe the server spawn had apartments for noobs like me, but i soon realized that it was a small gather of people, set out on survival. I made my room as fancy as i could, but then i got bored, so i asked if i could make more rooms for newer people, and the faction leader, who had invited me, alodapotato, told me it was ok. shortly after i went out exploring the great plains and hills sprawled out above our underground base, i walked 50 blocks and there stood the biggest most beautiful castle i have ever seen in my life, it walls had waterfalls raining down from it, buildings touched the heavens from the core of the castle, i shone green with envy, and my curiosity grew as i moved in closer, not realizing what this was. i get up to the wall, i start to walk the wall in hopes of finding a door or some way to let me see the inside of this majestic castle. Then out of absolutely nowhere, arrows start bolting toward me, my health dropping fast. i start to fumble away from the unknown aggressor when suddenly my items are strewn across the ground, and i am teleported back to my factions set home. i begin to type my investigation of who the unknown attacker was, but then i saw in big orange print that a man named uiik had smite me with his bow.
i set out for revenge illegally using my xray texture pack to find a way into the mines of my now enemy faction, JERICHO, thus led to 3 lost factions, and heartache to this day, of what could have been.
thankfully Jericho has long since been disbanded, allowing freedom to a slaves world

now i am back on the server, trying to start anew
