Hello resourcepackers! With the addition of 1.7's new resource packs GUI, I have had an idea that would allow for even greater customization for the users of resource packs. I call it OPERATION: JIGGIT.
How it works
People already break their resource packs into pieces for the convenience of users. However, I propose a standardized type of piece, called a Jiggit ( I got the idea from jigsaw puzzles ). Jiggits would come in these types, named for what they contain: Sky jiggits (sun, moon, stars), Natural block jiggits, crafted blocks jiggits, hostile mobs jiggits, passive mob jiggits, armor/weapons/tools jiggits, sound jiggits.
How I would organize it
I have made a blog page were I will keep a compilation of all jiggits people comment to me. You can find it here.
