He came when the school was in the mid-day, always minding his own business, until Johnny went missing.
It was all of a sudden, a plethora of students were rushing out of Belleview Middle School. I was standing next to Johnny at the time, when he remarked that he forgot something in his locker. He went through the halls and stumbled upon the new janitor, mopping up the floor, “Are you lookin’ for yo’ locker kid?”
“Yes sir, yes I was” Replied Johnny.
“Well it’s your lucky day, com’ here I found it for you, follow me”, he said. Johnny wearily walked with the janitor and came to the broom closet. When he saw his locker, it was too late, the janitor had put a cloth over his mouth and strangled Johnny until his shaking body went still, and the janitor went back to mop the floor and doing his dirty work.
CHAPTER 1
May, 4th 2010
“May the fourth be with you!” I said as I entered the school with my friend Noah,
“Submit to the dark side!” He exclaimed as I pulled out my paper lightsaber, and we dueled until we bumped into the janitor.
“Watch where you’re going kids”, He remarked. We quickly strolled past him as he gave a shaky finger to his neck as if he wanted our heads. We went to our first period class, which was Math, and continued another boring day at school. At lunch, Noah and I sat in the usual hallway near the lockers and ate our lunches silently, as we usually do. But this day was not a silent day. We both glimpsed at Johnny’s old locker, silently wondering what really happened to him. The janitor stared at us, and then at the locker, and then at us.
“Mind your own business kids!” The janitor abruptly remarked. We were startled at his remark and we quickly left the hallway dueling once again with our paper lightsabers. The day went by easily, chatting up the ladies, getting in trouble, the usual. At the end of the day, Noah and I were going to the bus area when he remarked, “Hey Logan.”
“Yeah?” I remarked.
“I need to go and get my coat; I left it in the gym.”
“Ok.” I easily said. Noah went through the front door and headed toward the gym as he was stopped by the janitor. “
“You lookin’ for your coat?” asked the janitor.
“Yes, how did you know?” Noah answered very slowly.
“Instinct, let me show you the way”, the janitor led Noah to the gym and went to the broom closet by the lockers.
“Here you are.” he janitor said, as he gave Noah his jacket. Before Noah could say “thank you”, the janitor muffled Noah cries for help and slowly had Noah in his closet, with Johnny, dead.
CHAPTER 2
The next day I was walking to the bus stop waiting for Noah, for I did not know that he was dead in a janitor’s broom closet - dead lying side by side with Johnny. When the bus came a girl said, “Where’s Noah?”
I did not know how to reply because of the feeling that the disappearances of Johnny, and now Noah were the fault of a person at school. I needed to get to the bottom of this. So, after school I devised a plan to sneak into the school and find any clues to Johnny and Noah’s disappearances. As the day went on, I did not talk to girls, but to some other people, trying to find a friend.
“Hey, did you hear about Noah?” asked a kid to some other students.
“No, but I think it’s a custodian’s fault, there has been so many disappearances in this year that I still can’t wonder what or who is taking them?” said another student.
I had to eavesdrop on them because I needed to find out information on Noah’s and some other students disappearances. At the end of the day, when all the students were gone, I had my plan ready and poised for action. I snuck through the hallway, passed the gym and the lockers, and stumbled upon the broom closet. I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door to the closet. To my horror I saw Johnny and Noah dead on the ground, along with Cassie, Doolin, David, Ashely, and Samantha, all dead.
“It didn’t have to be this way”, a startling voice exclaimed.
“Why did you do this?” I cried.
“Well isn’t my job to clean up, so I cleaned up the bad kids, you’re welcome.”
“These were my friends!” I replied back as I ran to tell the principle.
“You’re comin’ with me” the janitor said, but before he could strangle me I quickly avoided his blow to my head with a dirty mop. I ran through the hallway and went upstairs to the principal’s office but the janitor was right behind me. I went to the principal’s office but it was locked. I banged on the door but nobody could hear me. I was trapped and the janitor was closing in, and that’s the last thing I saw.

I was over at my friend's house. He had just bought a Nintendo 64 and two games for it the day before.The games were Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario 64. I had asked to play Super mario 64 but my friend told me no. I asked why but he didn't respond. I guessed because it was new he didn't want me to play the game. but while we were playing SSB my friend needed to leave the room for awhile. once he left, I turned of the console and replaced the cartrige with Super Mario 64. I turned it back on and started playing the game. On the title screen, The floating mario head appeared on the screen as normal. Except he didn't do anything and I couldn't deform his face. I pressed the start button and i was automaticly put ingame. The outside of the castle was strange. The sky texture had been changed to the sky texture of Leathal Lava Land and there were no outside sounds (except for Mario), birds, butterflies, fish, flowers, and trees.
Now i was starting to think the reason why my friend didn't want me to play the game was that the previous owners had hacked the game and he was going to return it. I decided to walk into the castle. Once Mario had entered, i noticed that he was in a long black hallway with peach at the end of it facing away from him. I tried to go back outside but when Mario touched the door, he was electricuted and lost half of his health. Suddenly a text box appeared saying "You won't be able to escape THAT easy....GARRETT!!!". I swallowed hard. "How did it know my name?" I thought. I was starting to question my theorys. I started to make Mario walk slowly to the other side of the hallway. when he was halfway across, the endless stairs theme started to play. When Mario got to the other end where peach was, the music stopped. Peach suddenly dissapeared and an extremely loud High-Pitched sound emmited from the game. My ears rang for a few seconds.
I looked back Towards the game. I noticed Mario had fallen in to a curcular room with five doors labled: YOU, FATHER, MOTHER, SISTER, and FRIEND. Another textbox appeared saying "Choose Wisely". I cautiously chose my door. When Mario went in, I noticed it was another black hallway but a little shorter. peach was at the end again standing in front of a big painting of my face. I walked slower than the first time I encountered her. When i got to the other end peach turned around and she had no face. a text box appeared for peach saying "Heeeeelp.... Meeeee...." before she dissapeared. the loud sound emmited again, except it was louder and it lasted longer. My ears rang longer than the first time. So long, I thought I had gone deaf. Once I regained my hearing I made Mario jump into the painting.
