Most of us notice pretty quickly when a new player, or a "noob" as they are called stumble unto the forums.

IF I'M A NOOB, HOW DO I BE UN-NOOBIFIED?

An easy way to get out of the noobship is to read the rules and obey them. The rules aren't just a joke. Don't skim over them. They are there for a reason - to keep everything better then it would be without them. The hard and not easy at all way out of Planet Minecraft noobship is to learn from trial and error. It's the worst way - You would've ignored everything and upload a skin that happens to be copied, and you'd learn the hard way - From all the hate and stuff.

WHAT DO I DO IF I SEE A NOOB?

There are a few ways to deal with it.

The first would be to hate on them.

This would cause the "noob" to feel bad, but if the noob in question happened to be a troll, that would be completely different. It would give the troll satisfaction that he/she has done a good job. Hating on the person in question would be the worst thing to do, but its the most popular choice of what happens when we see a noob.

The next way to deal with it would be to ignore the noob

Nothing would happen, you'd do nothing about it and the noob would probably continue being really really silly and never understanding the rules. He might even get banned of PMC. Nothing would happen any the noob would not learn a lesson. From any angle, this would not seem like the actions of a good player.

The final way to deal with it would be to help him/her.

Helping the noob could vary from anything from giving them the link to the FAQ to telling them that they aren't allowed to do it. But don't hate on them, like saying "OOOOH YOUR SUCH A NEWB, AHHAHAHAHAHHA"

Just say something like "You should check the Rules & FAQ, because your not allowed to do this." There is a big difference from bullying the person to giving them advice on what they could do next time.

WHAT ARE SIGNS OF THE NOOB?

Anything that it says DO NOT DO on the rules like:

Don't upload copied skins

Don't spam to meet the character limits

and many more things.

Well, thats it for today. Diamond if you enjoyed, subscribe if you want more and comment if you want to share your opinion with me.

QUESTION OF TODAY:

What was the most noobiest thing you've ever done?

Never noticing that I could turn it onto peaceful....

Ssh... Don't tell my sister but she once put pressure plates as flooring into her house then put some tnt down without realising that she put it off. xDD

More like this

  Have something to say?

Guys I said that HATING is one of the solutions because it can solve the problem, but it wont stop the problem from happening again. Geeze. I also said it is the WORST way to solve a problem, AKA you should NEVER EVER EVER solve a problem by hating! So stop posting comments saying "You said hating is a solution, ermehgawsh worst thing eveaaaaa!"!!!

Wait wait wait, The number one thing- first thing you should do is hate on them? That is not a way to deal with it. In face you do the opposite first- help them understand, 'noob' is a term for not good at something or new to something, so in that case help them out. Not hate on them.

why is hate such an immediate response? why point out what they did wrong (that they may not even have realized) in such a alarmingly obvious way? why not just PM them? that's what i do and i check back and 99% of the time :) Just my two cents
