Greetings humanoids, Zoralink here. Now, as some of you may have noticed, there seems to be a lot of rule-breaking submissions being posted on PMC lately. So many things, be they skins, projects, mods, texture packs, or blogs, are just breaking Cyprezz's rules. For instance, the amount of one-colour skins that are pumped out, drowning other's good skins under an "Avalanche of pixels."
And furthermore, the Blogs section is getting absolutely wrecked! There are comics in the Art section, question blogs all over, etc. Now the really good bloggers, SlipB, Yisewalton, Greytopher and the lot, they actually put things in the right place. They don't post question blogs with spelling/and-or grammar so bad as to make a teacher weep. "What do you mean Zora?" You ask. Well, how about blogs that ought to be part of the forums, such as "What skin shoud I mak?" blogs. I saw one with a single sentence asking what skin the poster should make, then he/she spammed to make the character limit. That is not a blog.
Oh yes. I almost forgot about the mixups. The "mixups" as I call them, are projects that aren't projects, or mods called "Hey gaiez!!" I'm not even joking, either. I've seen these foul amalgamations before, and they near scorched my eyes out.
And for my last, and angriest, point, I head over to the chatroom. Once a place of intelligent conversation, it has been degraded into a malfunctioning society that no longer knows how to read the rules. For example, I once saw someone post five links to their project in a row. Five. The conversation was interrupted, and after asking the person if they had read the rules, and I think most of you will be able to guess the answer. For the slow ones at the back, the answer was "no." Oh look! Here's another thing! Obvious questions! Like when someone asked, "Wheres the server hall?" It states where the hall is in the rules. Guess what? He hadn't read the rules! It makes me so angry that people just waltz in and break rules.
Now, for the moderators: Give them a break. If your project goes down/you can't login, don't hate on the moderators on chat! It's not helpful, and will likely not fix the problem. And anyway, they have a hard enough time as it is keeping the submissions in check! Don't ask stupid questions of them. For instance, someone on chat asked MissMarifire how to skin. I responded with, "Try Googling it."
Well, there goes another rant, this one wanted to come out badly. Anyway, hope I explained my frustration well, as not everyone on chat does this. If you like the new, short, sharp style of blogging, post it in the comments.
