The Portal Monolith
Alcatraz needed to get back to base. One problem: it was in the Overworld, where “normal people” were. The Nether was a dark, dark place. Filled with baddies, mobs, and… Alcatraz shuddered. He walked on, and looked for a Inter-Dimensional Nether Portal. It’s been 3 kilometers, and no answer. Though he didn’t know, the gods of luck were with him.
Gods are an interesting matter. While some religions believe they exist, and some do not, scientific research has proven that they exist. Though, they are not the gods idealized by Christianity, Islam, or Judaism. Instead, they follow the ideals of Greek Gods, Roman Gods, and other ancient pagan gods. Each god has some control over one dimension, particle or wave. Some gods have control over height, time, or dimensional transportation. Other gods can control Carbon Atoms, or giant fireballs. Even more powerful ones can control wavelengths of light, sound, and radiation. Yet the specific god who controlled “Luck” did not exactly do that. Instead, it can control different outcomes of human interaction, and choose which one would exist. In actuality, Prophet (the god) controls the axis of time manipulation, dilating circumstances until the suitable one occurs. And he’ll change it one more time.
Lava bubbled closely. Alcatraz was once reminded again about how dangerous the Nether was. SCREEECCCHHH! A Zombie Pigman cried next to Alcatraz. Luckily, it didn’t attack Alcatraz. But the Nitro Creeper beside it did. Boom! Alcatraz went flying, straight into the Lava pool. Closing his eyes, he accepted death. except he didn’t. Instead, he fell straight through the lava, and fell face-first into a Quartz room. Groaning, he got up. Looking up, Alcatraz realised what just happened. The Lava wasn’t real. It was a hologram, projected by a 3-D modeler somewhere in this Quartz room. This room. He was amazed. Lined with Quartz, this room looked like it could start a small war. It was outfitted with Computers, Turtles, Tinker Tables, Safes, Radar, controls, and weapons. Tons and tons of weapons. Mining Lasers, Electric Scythes, Ardite Cleavers, Nukes, Rocket-Propelled Torches, Portal Guns, Diamond-Tipped Chainsaws, Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles, and Plasma Cannons. And more. Alcatraz’s eyes teared up in joy. “Frikkin’ Lazors! And ICBMs! Holy s***” Filling his pack with weapons, Alcatraz blew a hole in the Quartz wall. Whomever this belonged to, he didn’t want it to exist anymore. Lava rushed in, but Alcatraz knew that it was only a hologram. Jumping straight out of the lava pool, he went guns blazing! Heatscar by Heatscar was being taken down. Wither Skeletons were impaled by Ardite Longswords. Every Pigman had a Cobalt Arrow through its head.
The Prophet grinned. It seemed like that his ploy had worked. Another hero was saved from utterly demise. He left.
