Prefixes In Vanilla Minecraft! | (How To Display Team Names As A Prefix in Vanilla Minecraft)
• This may be in Vanilla Minecraft, but there is one external tool used in order to make this method work.
Hey guys! Luezoid here, (Fancy-Pants) and today I'm going to show you fellow minecrafters on how to get prefixes in Vanilla Minecraft. Please note that you will need to download the tool called "NBT Explorer," I've linked it above. Let's ge t started! :D
• Step 1: Press "/" to open up a command, and type the following:

• Step 2: Now, you need to add yourself / the player into that certain team.

• Step 3: Exit the world and open up NBT Explorer. It'll look like this.

• Step 4: Expand The Following - Saves > (World Name) > Data > scoreboard.dat > data: 3 entries > Teams

• Step 5: Depending on how many teams you have created, there will be a certain amount of it labeled as "7 Entries."
• Step 6: Expand them and you will see an entry named "DisplayName," and you will see it named after the team you've created.

• Step 7: Highlight and copy this following symbol: §
• Step 8: If you need the color guide for minecraft, click here.
• Step 9: In NBT Explorer, double-click on Prefix; and from here you can customize it any way you want. This is how I did it :)

• Step 10: Make sure to put a space after the prefix and put §r after that space! Click Okay after!

◘ I guess you can figure out the suffix, it's almost like the prefix but after the username.
• Step 11: Make sure to save after you're done! This is the most important step!

• Step 12: Now go to your world and say anything in chat! Now you have a prefix!

◘ If you want to add a player to the team you've created, type:
/scoreboard teams join <Team> <Player>
Please note that a prefix has a 16 max. character limit!
Thanks! :) ~ I worked hard on this blog! :D
( This is my 2nd blog ever, A diamond would be greatly appreciated! )
