The next update for minecraft is well on its way. Its filled with many new aspects of the game. The question is, are you ready?
Maybe you've seen videos about what's next, and maybe you haven't, but here is a brief summary.
Big Changes:
- New Bosses (wither and with skeletons)
- New plants to farm (potatoes and carrots)
- New mob actions (zombies holding items, ridable and steerable pigs)
- New things to build (the beacon pyramid)
- And some decorative pieces(pots and picture frames)
I'd recommend watching the Yogscast's videos regarding this. (If you don't know who they are, you are missing out)
How you can prepare:
- Know the changes. Beacon towers can be a huge advantage in combat. And pig riding can be fun. You'll miss out if you don't know how to do these things.
- Stockpile gear. Beacon pyramids require a lot of resources (several blocks of diamond, emerald, and gold.
- Practice those skills. Wither bosses look extremely hard to kill. You'll need to make sure you are a pro at killing mobs.
Really, most of the stuff in this new update is new, so you can't really build up for it. However, if you don't know what you're going to be up against, you could be in trouble. So good luck!
