We know about Pros and Cons.
Well lets see some stuff in minecraft that are great bot have
also weakneses.
1.Digging Straight Down
Pros:Its Easier to find Caves and Mineshafts.
Cons:Warning:There May be lava Under.
Best Way:Make A Staircase and always check if theres lava under you!
2.Gold
Pros:You make golden apples.(thats all i know)
Cons:Armor,Tools and Weapons are powerfull like wood bot less durability.
Best Way:Keep Saving The Gold When You Need It!
3.Underwater Home
Pros:it would be realy hidden in the deep oceans
Cons:its hard to build in Survival and players can find youre house with night vision.
Best Way:Build a home ON the ocean not under it its easy and better if you have obsidian.
4.Silk Touch
Pros:its easier to get the blocks you cant get like grass or even ice.and you can store diamond ores so you can get a fortune pickaxe for more diamonds.
Cons:Its bad if you have only a silk touch pickaxe.
Best Way:Get a BACKUP tool!
5.Horse Armor
Pros:its awsome for youre horse.
Cons:Its Rare(Good Luck)
Best Way:None D:
Time For Mobs!
The pros for mobs are their special powers cons for mobs are their Weakneses.
6.Creeper
Pros:They Explode!Warning:you lose youre items!
Cons:They hate cats xD
Best Way:If you want gunpowder hit the creeper and go back so he will not explode or just get a cat :D
7.Enderman
Pros:They Teleport and make scary noises.
Cons:They Hate Water
Best Way:Kill it Quickly or just wait for rain xD
8.Cave Spider
Pros:They Posion you IF youre on normal or hard.
Cons:be on easy.
Best Way:Agian Be On Easy.
9.Blaze
Pros:They fly when agrro.
Cons:Their weakness is water bot it cannot be used in the nether the only weakness of them is wtaer if you cheat or arrows.
Best Way:Block the fireballs with youre sword or fire ressistance potion.
And the Last Mob:You will need to guess and tell the mobs name
Pros.Shoots skulls...
Cons:Arrows(Till Half HP)
Its A Beast Be Prepared.

Azie (The Site Mod):Gold can also be used to make golden carrots which is a much cheaper alternative to golden apples when breeding horses.Horse armor is much easier to find in deserts.
enTT:you can hit enderman on the feet so they cannot teleport and use a bow on a creeper.
RainbowDrops:you can use water to slow monsters.you can use a lead on mobs to be youre pets.

Gold can also be used to make golden carrots which is a much cheaper alternative to golden apples when breeding horses.
Horse armor is much easier to find in deserts. Get a minimap mod (ask your server administrators if they allow minimaps if on a server) to get the lay of the land. Any random, very square, holes on your minimap are surface dungeons ripe for the taking. This coupled with desert temples makes finding horse armor much easier.
On a side note, I think this blog could benefit from some formatting and a darker green text. Reading long paragraphs strains the eyes and adding breaks before your next point helps the reader a lot.
When i am out at night i always bring a few water buckets because the monsters are slow swimmers in moving water. x
