Have you ever been on a PvP server and people find your house and raid the crap out of it? Then kill you? Well, I've got a solution for that. Warning: the glitch advantages might be removed from the game by Notch in an update. If he does, don't say I didn't warn you.
Before you see people, do the following:
Step 1. Do the hidden chest glitch that replaces the chest with a block. You can do this by piston-pushing a block onto a chest minecart, so that the minecart is inside the block. Then put more of that same block all around the chest block.
Step 2. Most servers have a command called /kit. Using this command gives you a set of starter tools and stuff. Use these materials as defensive tools.
Step 3. *Note: only do this if these skins are allowed on the server. Find a skin from PMC that is a block texture. For example, say your house is made of wood. Then find a skin that has the wood texture as the skin. Using this skin gives good camo.
Step 4. Set up traps, like a pressure plate that if you stand on it the floor disappears and you fall in lava. Put these pressure plates in front of chests, doors, or any spot the raider would go to first.
When you see people coming at you, do the following:
Step 1. Find the nearest hiding spot that suits your skin. For example, find a space in between blocks that has the same block texture as the one in your skin.
Step 2. Hold Shift down so that you crouch. This makes the player's name become invisible. I do not know if this still works, but yeah.
If all else fails, and they find you, do the following:
If you have tools from the /kit command, do this:
Run out of your hiding spot and start attacking like a crazed llama.
If you have no tools whatsoever, do this:
Punch the raiders over and over about 3 times, then dash out of your house. Then let the traps get to them. B*tches!
After all that, you're good to go! (BTW if you had to choose the last option to run away, start over. Build a new house in the middle of some random place so that raiders can't find it. Thanks y'all!

...but it's good for beginners though I guess...
