Simple texture packs are, quite simply, clogging up both the "Latest" tab of texture packs and the storage space of Planet Minecraft. Sure, a simple texture pack to stop lag and to go easy on the eyes once in a while is absolutely fine, in fact a great idea. But when you take a look at the new textures uploaded to PMC, literally three quarters of the list is full of SimplePacks!

These textures probably took the best part of 2 minutes to make, and are taking the place of amazing texture packs that people spent days, weeks or even months creating.
