I am a Remixer. I am not an artist, nor a designer, or an inventor. I am a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. I am a Remixer.
What is a Remixer, you might ask? A Remixer is someone who likes and admires the works of others, but finds details about them incomplete or not to their liking, then finds the pieces that fit to their taste and combines them, creating a work that wholly fits their needs/tastes.
Example:
I love 32x32 texture packs. They improve the look of Minecraft without losing the essence of the game's look and feel. To this day I have never found a single texture pack that perfectly fits my wants or needs. I love DokuCraft's tools, but hate it's terrain. I love Inspiration's terrain, but hate it's tools and mobs. I love the default mobs, but hate the artwork. What to do? Combine them! Every time there is a patch, I remix several texture packs made by people who are -real- artists into a single work that pleases me.
"That's stealing!" you might declare in an indignant and whiny voice. I say [CENSORED CENSORED CENSORED CENSORED], but that's because I hate ignorant people. A real Remixer is not a thief. A real Remixer makes sure to give credit to the artists and designers whom he so admires and deigns to use their material and to always ask ahead of time before sharing with others.

Reply: "Dude! I love your texturepack, where'd you get it from?"
Me: "It is a custom pack I remixed."
Reply: "Can you link it so I can see?"
Me: "No, I have not gotten permission from the authors to redistribute parts of their work. However, I can tell you it was made from XXXXX, YYYYY, and a bit of ZZZZZZ.
I am a Remixer, and I am responsible. I thrive on the work of artists and designers and seek only to improve their works by bringing them together. I am not a criminal, nor a plagiarizer. I am a Remixer.
