Welcome to Server Problems Weekly. I decided to start posting weekly about my issues with minecraft servers, and what admins should take into account. There will also be Server Sunday where I will do a review/shoutout to any server that I might see/play on. But for now SPW.
First on the agenda, we have those guys. Yeah, you know which ones I'm talking about. I'm talking about those guys geared up in their diamond armor, ready to kill the first new guy who happens to try to slip by. Yeah, those guys. I personally think that some servers should have this revoked.
Ok, I know that they're PVP servers, but come ON. I just want to survive, and maybe be like you guys. But that's really difficult when there's a team of 10 full enchant diamond armor guys, Sharpness 4 swords with fire aspect 2, Bows with Power 4 and infinity 1. Seriously, It's not fair at all. I always say when someone dies and cries about it, It's just like: Dude, it's how a PVP server works. But the spawn campers just take that rule to a whole new level.
Let me give you some perspective if you're not following. Let's say you login to a new server (We'll call it Baconcraft) and you want to go out into the world and survive, find diamonds, make friends, and do all sorts of stuff. Now imagine a long-ass wall of 8 players with full, enchanted diamond armor, diamond sword, and bow. You think that they'll let you pass, then you get raped by them. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I just request this one thing, and suggest to others. If you're not going to revoke it, please make it a little bit easier for the new people to get out ALIVE. Maybe expand the safezone, because you cant do /warp wild, they'll spawn camp the hell out of it. If the safezone had a wider area, maybe it would have more safe spots to get out and actually DO something.

I think that with this acception, SPW is going to be on Tuesday, and don't forget, Server Sunday every sunday.
