If you, like me, don't need any extra mod, but just the shaders, you can install the mod without Forge, and even without the Shaders mod!
Shaders are quite demanding, so why not making the game both faster and better looking with one single tool?
Sounds good? Let's start then.
How to install the Shaders mod (without the Shaders mod!)
We're going to get the Shaders mod without the "original" shaders mod, but with Optifine! Here's how:
1. get the latest version of Optifine here
2. run the java file (your Minecraft MUST be closed) and follow the instructions (nothing fancy)
3. done!
Now, before starting the game, just use the Optifine profile (or in your favorite profile use the Optifine version of Minecraft).
How to install some Shader packs
1. get your favorite shader pack's zip file
2. head to your .minecraft folder*, create a new shiny "shaderpacks" folder
4. put the zip files in the shaderpacks folder
5.
* How to find the .minecraft folder
- personalize that line: #yourdisk#:\Users\#you#\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft or
- go to "search" > search "%appdata%" > go to .minecraft
To find the folder quickly, find the "open shaderpacks folder" in the "shaders" section of the game: the button is in the settings.
Common problems
What if something went wrong?
Try to:
1. Re-install the mod - clean your Minecarft and re-follow the steps
2. Check your Minecraft settings - with wrong parameters your shaders can crash
3. Update your drivers - that's the most common problem
4. Update your Java - that's uncommon, do it just if you use a custom javaw.exe, and not the special one
5. Keep your shaderpacks updated - very uncommon, but who knows?
For any problems, the comments are here for you ;)

I don't recommend doing it tho, it's kind of unnecessary.
