Hello people, Soccool here to bring you another awesome blog. Today I am here to give a few basic and simple tips that will help you make your submission way better than usual.

General tips:
  • Submit original stuff - everybody knows that, because who wants two same damn things when you only need one?
  • Make sure all part of your submission is related- let your submission be not so random but more around a theme. How would you feel when you were looking at a blog about command blocks and you suddenly see: "Cake can be placed on a block."?
  • Give it a "style" - you it to look different and want it to stand out of the crowd and make it look way better than all the other submissions, don't you?
  • Submit your submission at a certain time if you are not that famous - a thoughtful blog usually should be released when adults are back from their work in order to get way more views as most people that read thoughtful blogs are adults.
  • Not too abstract - Don't make a mod like "knowledge boost" or something that is irrelevant to Minecraft, it's just plain stupid

Finished reading the general tips? Let's move on to tips that are more specific and for each category in PMC. Open the spoilers to read the tips :)

Projects
  • Try to make your project look big and gigantic - Just look at those crazy minecraftians out there, every one of their projects is like more than a few hundred thousand blocks. Just the look of it creeps me out.
  • Special features - Things like redstone builds and maybe pixel art may make it stand out of the crowd. Remember that every part of the build is important.
  • Choose the kind of build you are doing (Parkour, Adventure, Creative, PvP?) and don't make things that are irrelevant - Don't just put a spleef arena in the middle of a hunger game map, only idiots do that.
  • Redstoning is awesome - My friend, spiefie99 is just awesome at redstoning and he can make awesome redstone circuits that really can shock people.

Skinning
  • Do some shading - Seriously guys, have you ever seen a guy that wears a shirt that is completely red walking down the street? In real life, maybe, but in minecraft, no way.
  • Make good use of the hat part - We all know that your head in Minecraft is just an old boring square. But with the hat part you can make your skin look like it's got a beard and can make your face look fay.
  • Set one or two main colours for your skin - Most skins are based on one to two colours and from those colours people really can start to shade on their skins.

Texture pack
  • Give it a theme - That's the most important part of texture packs. You don't want a super complex door when your texture pack theme is simplistic.
  • Add random mobs and random texture support - This will highly increase the number of your audience and they will love this feature.
  • Not too abstract - The users still want it to have a look of the normal Minecraft, not an entirely different game.

Mods
  • Something original - No more Herobrines and no more "mo' sword" or "obsidian stuff" or gun mods. Everybody's sick of that.
  • Not too abstract - Don't entirely ruin the feel of Minecraft. You are trying to add something, not entirely change Minecraft.
  • Something that still work in multiplayer servers - Just so that your users can use the mod even on a multiplayer server (etc. Zan's Minimap).
  • Adding a feature that is actually useful - Not something like "punching a tree with your fist will decrease 20% of your health every time".

Blog
  • Anti copy - There is no point copying and pasting an awesome blogger's work on your blog. Everybody can identify its not yours.
  • State your idea clear - Let the people understand what you are truly talking about.
  • Keep your blog short - People don't like to spend 10 minutes looking at your blog just to see all the content.
  • Normal or big size font - Nobody likes to have their eyes glued on their computers just to look at what words you wrote.
  • Bold and underline your words - Let your audience see the key and main points of your blog.

Server
  • Give it a seriously cool name and picture - A cool name and picture will attract lots of people as they then know what this server is truly about.
  • Kind of server - Is it creative, survival, survival games or what? State the kind of server in your description.
  • People that are in it - If you say that it consists of lots of Minecraft celebrities like the Yogscast (impossible probably) or Captain Sparkles it will attract over much people that your server's gonna crash.

I hope you enjoyed this blog. Thanks for reading. Diamond and subscribe if you would like to!
