Hello guys and girls I have had this idea for a while and I have only told a few friends about it so I thought I should share it so let me begin telling you what this idea is.
First off this is an idea for a mod but I believe this would make an amazing addition to vanilla minecraft in the future updates. This idea is that there could be a button next to the hemet slot in the inventory that allows the user to toggle the helmet on their skins. This would be useful for many reasons for example when wearing armour the skin's hemet can just make it look strange and not right. Look bellow for an example
