snow golems:why?

I am here to tell you about snow golems. why are they here? they may look cool and sound cool,but what will us minecrafters do with them? I was fighting a spider for fun,so i built like 20 snow golems. They through snowballs.they all died.So i built 20 more. the spider killed 20 more snow golems.(really)so i got bored and just killed the spider with a diamond sword. i just realized i HATE snow golems.

They're used for traps, the snowballs they throw will attract monsters. So make a large fenced area, cover the outside of the fences with stone (smooth), dig holes, fill them with lava and ur done. try make a tunnel of some sort that where the lava ends theres water so the droppings run to you. wow useless snow golems... i use them for company, on 1.0.0 i spawned at an NPC village, i walled it (this was on creative mode) with cobbled stone, so the testificate people couldnt leave and i put snow golems in there so it was like a civilization ;P check my blog "Minecraft/nether area" and you will see my walled NPC village there!
