Stranded: Chapter 2- Out Cold

Favian slowly steps up the rocks as the cool breeze blows against his face. With a high vantage point, he steadies his bow and aligns it with the deer in the distance. Favian grabs one of the few arrows he has, loads the bow with it, and pulls the string back tightly. As Favian straightens up a bit, he steps upon a loose piece of rock. As the deer flinches and begins to run, Favian fires the arrow penetrating the deer within the chest.



Favian sits under the dark, night sky as he watches the flames cook the deer he killed earlier. Trying to reflect upon his past, he comes to a single memory that makes him question what happened. The memory of his wife Annette. The flames began to get a bit brighter as he was being dragged away from reality, but the smell of burnt meat caught his attention. He snapped back into reality and began to prepare the food. With the moon at the highest point in the sky, Favian went to bed with the thought of his wife on his mind. As he sleeps soundly within his tent, a figure from the hills above watches...



The next day, Favian begins preparation for one more hunt. He takes the last few arrows he has and heads within the hills above. Hours pass as he searches for deer, but comes across nothing. As he begins to leave, a figure out in the distance catches his attention. He begins to run towards it hoping to find another person. As he gets closer, the figure vanishes. As he's looking around, the figure sneaks up behind Favian knocking him unconscious.
