Stranded: Chapter 1- Washed Up

The waves of the shore beat against the soft, hot sand of the beach. Favian awakens; laying in the sand. Dazed and confused, he stands to his feet. Within the corner of his eye, he catches a glimpse of a ship. The boat lies against a rock within the water broken into pieces. He walks towards the lifeless vessel; l

ooking upon the boat, he notices the hatch open. With no time to lose, he dives into the water and heads inside of the ship.

Three hours pass as Favian continues to dig around for anything salvageable. He climbs out of the boat, and heads ashore. Finding a tent, a book. a bow, and a few arrows, Favian is able to begin setting up camp. He sets up camp in a small spot of grass, providing more comfort than sand would. The sun begins to set as Favian finishes up his chores around camp. He looks on towards the sunset over the ocean, the vivid color of orange contrasting the blue ocean that was once his home.


As nighttime falls, Favian sits upon the soft ground in his tent thinking of a way off the island. He begins to think of what happened before he ended up here, but due to the trauma, he's suffering from amnesia. He grabs the book he found earlier and begins to document his journey, however, he realizes that he doesn't have anything to write with. Fortunately, there's a small flower next to him called a Juiceroot flower, a flower that has a steady flow of nectar ranching through it's stem.

Picking it up, he squeezes the nectar from the flower and begins to use it as a writing utensil. Favian begins to write within the book that shares the same fate as he does.
