Hey guys! Waffles here, and today I will be talking about stupid server events. Let's dive on in!

Now, many server owners these days have to invent new ideas to get their server out there, as advertising on a forum amongst 1000's of other servers is too tricky. More and more owners have leaned towards the "go to an event on a server, win something and become a regular" approach. However,  most of them are just Drop Parties, and the rest are just stupid.

I saw an event today which said, "Server Twerk-Off Prize 10 diamonds". That was when I knew that Minecraft has some really stupid people. I mean, how do you judge something like that? How do you beat people? Spam a button the most and end up winning some virtual items? Another dumb event I saw was "Footrace". I'm not sure if the people who entered realised that they would just be holding onto the W button for 20 minutes?

The final event that I have seen was called "rap battle". I was curious to see what this was, so I got the IP and went on to spectate..

Everyone was flying over these two kids that were typing lines in chat. It took them 5 minutes to type a line, they couldn't spell and it didn't even rhyme. At the end, the owner said that the one with the creeper skin won because he had so much swag in his rap. I asked him what he thought swag meant and I got banned with the message, "Ha! I don't have to work when I'm older 'cause I have swag!".
