I was trying to find my home on an smp server. When I came across this. It's not modded. Everyone, even the admin was flipping out. :D

I have a couple of questions.

Is this even possible?
Or is this a glitch in the code?

Please tell me.

It's fun, RP and theres not too many players. But I havent met anyone who is mean.

An admin just spawned it in... and a person could have found diamonds, had a silk touch pick and planet them up near the surface.

this actually happened to me, but i was on creative so it wasnt too much of a big deal. also if i tried to take a picture of it and post it people would have thought i spawned it

I'm sorry for all the controversial arguments. I didn't manage to get a good screenshot. But this is 100 percent legit, as far as I know. Please don't let this tamper anything else I post!

I've seen diamond actually on the surface! It was in a small ditch in the ground! :D

It was obviously not spawned, but this isn't on the surface. You can clearly tell from the lighting

somebody spawned them cuz diamonds only spawn lower than level 20

There's GRASS there. And does that lighting look like its from a torch or lava? It's the SUN.
