As the rain fell from the sky Daniel was happy that he was with Mallie right now, using her magic she had kept the rain from soaking both of them. The two of them had been waiting in the woods for a while now and had not seen a single sign of anyone else besides themselves.
"Where are they we were meant to meet up ages ago, I'm getting very bored now and you know how short my attention span is Mallie." Daniel told her as he stretched and rolled on the ground.
"It's not my fault your something that needs to be entertained or doing something they enjoy all the time, besides this is important." Mallie replied matter of factly. Daniel agreed to this but was still slightly annoyed. The two of them kept waiting, time ticked on and still no one else arrived, at least no one they were expecting.
"Why hello there you two." A calm voice spoke from the darkness, Daniel and Mallie looked towards the sound and watched as someone walked out from the treeline, he held a spear in his right hand and another in his left. Mallie stepped towards the figure.
"Now now Mallie don't do anything you'll regret you remember how our other engagements ended." The boy said to her, Mallie stopped walking but Daniel had moved up next to her. Daniel and the boy stared at each other for a few moments before Daniel dashed forward and drew his katana, with a loud clash the boy blocked with his spears.
"Your brave aren't you Wolf." The boy said,
"And your a terrible monster, snake." Daniel replied. The boy pushed Daniel back and also slashed at him, while Daniel dodged the hit the boy did manage to cut the bandages around his head, they fell to the ground but Daniel did not care.
"Why thank you those bandages are actually very uncomfortable." Daniel said. He stretched again and from the moonlight you could see two wolf ears on his head, and also a tail appeared from his waist.
"Now that I'm comfortable let's do this. OROCHI!" He yelled as he charged at the boy again.
