Let's say you've worked so hard on this blog and you believe it may get on the pop reel because you worked on it for 30 minutes. Your about to finish and then bam. Something has happened, power outage, accidently exited out of PMC, etc. And now you are literally rolling and crying on the floor because you worked on that blog for 40 minutes and just lost theWHOLE thing. It's not fair to the people who actually put time and effort into their blogs. I don't know about you but I certainly hate it. PMC should have someway of saving your blog or anything your posting every 30 secs. so just in case something happens your good.

Possible Solutions: Maybe if your worried about this issue you can go to wordpad or notepad or whatever you have on your comp/laptop and write your blog on there first. Also, you cold hand write it. WAT? No, don't run away. It's just a suggestion. :P Calm down. Or you can rehearse it aloud, but who wants to do that? I mean really, be serious...

My thoughts: I strongly believe they should add in this new feature because it would make people happy then sad that they just lost their whole story because of something they couldn't control. Or you can have it as an option for more clumsy people like me. :D So that's pretty much all I wanted to cover on this subject for now, and as always, thanks for reading...

I don't think 40 minutes lost of blogging is as bad as several hours of coding, modeling, or designing being lost.

I would be a good feature. The main concern I see is storage for the auto-saves. PMC might not have the sever space or resources to store the auto-saves. Storing them locally in something like cookies may work instead.

If you're in the middle of a long blog, it's a good idea to save it as a draft (just uncheck the 'publish live' option before saving). Then you can go in and edit it to add the rest. Even if something happens while you're editing it, you'll still have the original draft saved. Hope this helps.
