today in the Blockly Craft we get to discuss the supposed rigging of the Mob Vote as well as many other exciting topics... Including schemes from the GME.
Let's start with the accusations of a rigged vote, shall we? The 2023 Mob Vote has been one of the most--if not the most--controversial votes yet. Only being rivaled by the 2019 vote where Dream supposedly rigged it. This vote has been filled with the trend #STOPTHEMOBVOTE as well as the newly formed Creeper Revolution group. All of that is, however, old news. Now we must discuss the possible rigging of this Mob Vote. The controversy started when a group realized that although every single YouTube post showed the crab being the favourite, the acual votes did not show this. This suggested at some form of foul-play, and a possible botting of the vote.
It is almost entirely speculation, though there were some leaked Discord messages that may be incriminating and be used as proof of a rigged vote. It is hard to tell if these accusations are real, and evidence-based, or is crab voters are simply upset their mob lost.
Other players have begun to claim Mojang rigged the vote themselves, after they saw that the crab was winning. This is under the assumption that Mojang rigs most votes, giving two lacking mobs, as well as a clear and obvious good mob. This became evident in the two most recent vote, mainly, where only one of the three candidates was actually good. A video by The Game Theorists explains it very nicely.
Beloved YouTuber Stampycat had stopped his long-lived Minecraft let's-play series. Although he wasn't the first person to make a let's-play, he was a major innovator for the genre, and has made over 820 videos for his series. His series also included cameos of other YouTubers, and it is sad to see the end of what is one of the longest running let's-plays. His final episode is number 823 in the series and focuses on Barneby needing to be saved. I (illager) Never watched the series, but I am aware that it "raised" over 10 million children and helped so many people come to learn of Minecraft. It is sad to see it go. The video is number two on YouTubes trending.
More on YouTube, Grian has started another one of his "Life Series". This one has a unique twist where one must complete a challenge in secret in order to gain special loot. Mumbo Jumbo is also reintroduced in the series, having only appeared in one of the others' as of late. The series now have merchandise as well.
As promised, here is some talk about the rather infamous group, the GME. The group has begun to make new weapons. Weapons that they claim are more powerful than nukes. 1,000s of times more powerful. It begs the question of how powerful you can be during an RP. Could one just say, "I have the Infinity Gauntlet"? And no-one could argue?
Bubbles_ has a new PFP. This one is a rather weird one, but also cute. Because as everyone knows, cats are cute.
Silabear, the former king of PMC has been made into a skin. He and several users are now adding to this, saying they have PTSD or that they want the monarchy back. illager has made a wall post that implies he may want to make another sort of monarchy...

it seems really unfair, especially when he’s the one that started all of this
he literally said the Great Alien Empire has weapons that can destroy entire islands, so I gave the Legion plot armor in the form of a shield that can block these death rays
