The Bright Light pt.1 ~poem (pop reel)

Waking up, loud ringing in my ear,
I silently get up out of bed.
Looking out the window, thinking aliens, my fear,
flickering lights, blue, yellow, and red.

I quietly ran outside with my pajamas on,
as the mud sinks inbetween my toes.
Getting closer to find out that they weren't human,
they check out the boat, floating in the water, getting in and row.

The creatures were so amazed that they took it,
multiple creatures carrying the boat into the big glare.
I come closer and closer trying not to scare,
bringing a latern that i lit.

I stopped to a point where they could see,
waving to them, trying to get there attention.
Looking at me, with darkness in their eyes, with no protection,
I was too scared to flee.

One by one, they come closer and closer,
eyes slowly turning redder and redder with very bright light.
I drop the lamp, standing still in shock, face going white,
my eyes start widening slower and slower.

Once they got up to me, I was a rock,
the leader put his finger up to my forehead.
I was warped, was I dead?,
I woke up behind bars, a mysterious lock.

im so happy that we got it to a pop reel, i cant show the proof cause idk how to.
