I often see posts like that on forums at PMC and Minecraftforums.

Here are some examples :

Hey all,
I am interested in the staff side of servers so am looking for a server to dedicate my time too, and become a hard-working team member!

About my-self -
Name: CENSORED
Age: 17
IGN: CENSORED
What experience do i have?: Have been playing Minecraft for just over two years now! Have also admin'd and moderated on multiple servers, including some of my own.
I am here to have fun, but also take my role seriously in helping your server grow with the right community!

Thanks for checking out what i have to say, any questions please feel free to ask (:

NOTE: Please no hamachi servers, 24/7 servers only

And

Hey People Of MInecraftForums. If you need an admin or moderator, I would be happy to apply. I'm kinda bored and Im looking for servers to help and administrate. Sadly, I am not 16+ but im still a good admin/mod.
I have been admin on about 3 - 5 servers and I own a bukkit server. So, If you Need a Mod or Admin, I can be the guy.

These both are original quotes with grammar and typos.

Do you think I'm going to compare these 2? Nope, the're both bad. " But why?" you will ask. That's easy - it's empty.
And badly written. If you ever tried to leave your summary, it's often ignored by all hosts and server founders. Because they all lack EVERYTHING, I mean, you just leave your name/age/IGN and something like : "I are gewd admin trust meeeh" that's how all good employees will see ite. You will never be accepted as an admin/moderator/builder.

So how good summaries should look like?

First start with introduction, it's not about age or your name, it's about how grammaticaly right you can write and present yourselft. Starting with " Hi, I want to be an admin" is bad. Better would be "Experienced *insert_position* is willing to cooperate on projects or help on server" You see the difference?
But that's only a beggining. Should you add your age/IGN and Skype to end this? No. Next should be your working experience.

Remember that any written word by you should be supported by links to your actual works or recomendations of previous server owners.

Let's compare :

BAD
"I was an admin on 2 servers and can build very well!"

Good
"I'm an advanced builder, I work in medieval/sci-fi/modern style, here are examples of my work (Put 3-4 links of your work). I was administrating on *server_name* for *time*. Also can do a bit of "this and that".

This will give your hirer what he is looking for : Actual skills and talents

Then you can add some information about yourself : maybe your hobbies, character and some other talents, if you ready for long term projects and so on.

Then you should add a contact info, a way to hire you. Leaving your skype is not great idea, better to suggest posting in comments or writing in PM. Or your skype might be overwhelmed by the number of friend requests

In the end thank the readers for taking their time, and vewing your summary - it's really leaves a good impression.

And for the last I want to say : Nobody's Perfect you can't be the best at something, there is always someone better then you or you're really overestimating your abillities. Better to write where you're not so good, or where you want to hone your skills.

Thanks for reading! I hope this will help you in future!

P.S. Some other thing will be added later.
P.S.S Diamond this and share with friends if you wish for a better community on PMC!
