I'm aware that some people are very discouraging.
And it's part of life.
But, little note to those who always criticize and can't say
something positive about something someone
worked really hard on, shut up.

Not to be too harsh, but, seriously?
How would you like it if someone ripped your favorite pair of
shoes, or your brand new electronic?
And every time you get a new
one, they did it again.
You would deal with it, and deal with it.
But enough is enough.

Discouraging someone can dig a deep hole in the ground,
sometimes it can be too deep for someone to
get out.

I've definitely been postponing art for awhile since
all my siblings do is criticize or bash whatever
I show them. (except for one). It's okay to do
it sometimes, but if you
clearly see they
want a positive response, maybe even an encouragement,
then give it.

It won't be the end of the world.

Sometimes all someone needs is that one
person to say, "good job",
"keep going" "Never give up, you'll get there".
That's all someone really needs to achieve a goal.
Of course, those remarks are for in general.
For a specific piece of whatever,
just complement it.

If they tell you to be truthful no matter what and they
still get offended, yeah, that is their fault.
It is good to take
constructive criticism.

I hope everything I have said is somewhat accurate to what most
people think. This is honestly
based of my experience. I personally don't
truly "believe" my family
when they say it's good, or best one yet because they've said
"no" too long. This is mostly directed to my
siblings, and I don't mean to shame them,
they do mean well.

PS. I've decided not to do the storytime-draw-my-life
video. I'm not fully comfortable sharing
those very personal things
with other people.
I was going to do it to try to get better at sharing the story,
but,
no. It's not needed information for anyone.
