WHY jeb_ The one thing everyone wants. EMERALD TOOLS, why did jeb_ say No. Well he is scared about the power in them. Well yes emeralds are OP and a little stronger then diamond. They are hard to find. Emeralds are harder to find compared to diamond. It is true they will be OP on a pvp server or a survival server. Enchanted emerald tools will also be OP. Then maybe they make so it takes a lot of levels to get enchanted emeralds. Yes they will last long and yes they are maybe a little OP. If think about it though it will take a lot of time to get a lot of emeralds. Emeralds spawn not in groups. Only 1 spawns 2 if your lucky. If jeb_ wants to add some ridiculous things that are stupid. Why would he want to do that but say NO EMERALD TOOLS. Clearly jeb_ isn't thinking on what is going on.
Also the other way in putting it.
So many people are complaining that emeralds will be to "op" and it will be stronger then diamond.
Which
may i remind them that emeralds are harder to find then diamond. If you
find diamond you get 5-8 diamonds if you find emeralds you get 1
emerald and there is a 25% chance you will get 2 emeralds and a 10%
chance you will get 3. I think mojang should add emerald tool but make
emeralds harder to find.

Emeralds~
1.) Not much powerful than diamonds (same as diamond maybe)
2.) Villagers should trade better things (or more things) if you give them a rare emerald (maybe different items for certain biomes, example: hill biomes have less valuable stuff since emeralds are usually in that biome quite frequently)
