So now, you want to join the crowd of people who all own Minecraft servers, not a problem! Hopefully my tutorials/suggestions can help everyone out.
Okay, so, many people are now running their own server, which means that competition has risen. There are many server owners who have no idea how to run a server, and just say "If you join my server, I will OP you." That could be a great piece of advertising, because it will attract a bigger audience. It is also very bad, because, that will attract many griefers.
Below is a list of thigs to think about, to help you start your Minecraft Server. Feel free to change them however you want, since this is just what I think will do well:

- Somethings to think about when first starting your server is:
- Is it going to be private or public?
- What server mod should I use? (Vanilla, Bukkit or Tekkit)
- If I chose public, will I have it whitelisted, so I can control who comes to play?
- Am I going to promote my server? (Advertising or having a website up)
- Will I beg for donations, or will I host up to my capability?
- Finally, will it be a cracked server, or non-cracked (Legit)
