At the end of the 5th Era, the Overworld was a flourishing paradise. The world was broken up into 5 major powers, each
specializing in their own craft. Arator had been named the capital many years before, but a public election was coming up to
change that. Arator had once been a thriving city of commerce and was the richest of the 5 cities, but by the beginning of the 5th
Era, the city had turned to a shanty town. It's military could no longer hold the frontier and the city shrunk daily. While this city
lost, the mining empire of the Overworld, Havenmoor, grew. It's military power rivaled all the other cities and it had grown to
become the largest. With it's wealth in iron and diamond, it controlled the Overworld's military and industry. The city, however,
did not know how to handle the power and the city split into two sides. The north side was mostly the poor workers and the
south side was made up of the wealthy. The system did not work well after the "Revolution" as it came to be known. Although it
was mostly non-violent, it made a huge impact on not only Havenmoor's economy, but the economy of all five cities. The other
three cities, Eribourne, Thralkeld, and Bolstaor, were generally peacful and had been stable since the second Era.\
The cities and their roles:
Arator: Capital city, most of the commerce passes through here.
Havenmoor: Mining/Industrial town. In a sense, controls the Overworld
Eribourne: Logging and wooden manufacturing
Thralkeld: Farming and fishing city, major port city, shipbuilding
Bolstaor: Crafting city, materials come in, goods come out
