You are the last of us. You know you can remember playing before but not on your own. If so. You can Survive!

This Guide is simple. All you can do is mine through caverns tens of blocks beneath you. Gather wood, and become the most honoured play ever. If you wish to full fill your dream.... Then read on!

Chapter one - A new Spawn
Welcome to the world of minecraft! Look around. You might be in a mushroom biome with purple grass, or a forest with bright green leaves. You could be in a desert, or jungle next to a temple. But it doesn't matter.
If your in a jungle.
Welcome to the Jungle. The high trees must surround you for you to be in a jungle. The first thing you're going to want to do is gather wood from the viney trees around you. Turn them into wooden planks and create a crafting table. Build an axe. Using two sticks and three planks of wood. Collect a few more pieces of wood and then start building your first, square house. Right click to place blocks down, using this skill you will be able to create a wooden hut for you to survive your first night. When it starts getting dark. Create a door by vertically filling 2 thirds of the crafting table. Place the door at the entrance of your house. And you should be safe.
If your in a forest.
Look around. A wonderful place. Short trees which drop apples when you scavenge through the leaves. If you are here, then this is the section of the guide for you. First, make your way to the closest group of trees. Mine the wood with your bare fist and put together a crafting table. Create an axe using two sticks and three planks of wood and mine a few more trees. Now you will want to put together your house. Right click to place blocks. Using this skill you can create your first square house. As it approaches night you will want to create a door by vertically filling two thirds of the crafting table. Place the door at the entrance of your house and await the monsters. You should be safe... for now...
If your in a desert.
You have a chance. To complete this stage of the game you will have to make your way to the nearest river.
Across the river you should be able to make your way to a forest biome.

In a desert. Part Two.

In a plains biome.
In a plains biome you have some chance, more than in a desert biome. Plains biomes usually aren't too big. Try and get yourself to another forest biome. There, follow the forest biome's guide.

In a plains biome. Part Two.

Look around. A wonderful place. Short trees which drop apples when you scavenge through the leaves. If you are here, then this is the section of the guide for you. First, make your way to the closest group of trees. Mine the wood with your bare fist and put together a crafting table. In a mountain biome.
If you're in a mountain biome. Then you've got to play hardcore. I'm aware that hardcore is a game difficulty, but thats not what I mean. By being in a mountain biome, you've just made the game a hole lot harder. To assure you're in a mountain biome, you should be high ontop of some grassy peaks with a very rare spruce tree every so often. To start off in a world like this you're going to have to find a spruce tree and mine it all up. Turn the logs into planks and create a crafting table. With the crafting table craft sticks and eventually a pickaxe. A pickaxe is crafted with planks along the top line and then to sticks down the middle. Mine out a house which you think it's possible to get out of and craft a door. Craft a door by vertically filling in two thirds of a crafting table.
Place the door at the entrance of your house. By mining out your house, you should have 8 cobblestone. Fill out the edges of a crafting table and you will obtain a furnace. Go out and mine another piece of log and place it in the top half of the furnace. Put some spare planks on the bottom half and eventually it should create charcoal. In your crafting table, put the charcoal at the top, and one stick below it and you will be presented with 4 torches. Use these to light up your house. And this part of the guide, ends here.
Chapter 2 - "Mine"craft

First craft a pickaxe by putting 3 planks above the top of your crafting table and two sticks down the middle. Craft another spare crafting table and supply yourself with lots of wood. You will want to start mining down a stair case. Press F3 or Ctrl 3 to see which block your at. Every time you move you will see a number change. These are your co-ordinates. The middle number of your co-ordinates is how high you are above bedrock. Bedrock is the unbreakable block at the bottom of your world. Now I will show you the height chart of ores.

On what did you base the chart? It looks quite interesting. Maybe change the text colour of the ores with their respective colours. It makes it easier to see where it roughly resides in the ground.

I'm probably going to get the meaning of your comment wrong. But I guess I'll try. I based it roughly on where the ores are in your minecraft world. I'm not sure whether I can change the text colour, but doing that would be useful.

You got it right my meaning.

I was just curious if it was based on info of the minecraft.wiki. of your own.

Yes you can cage the text colour. It's on the right of inserting a table into the blog.

If I say that maybe Every piece of stone and nothing else is equivilent to 2 layers of stone then it might be more acurate.
